Highland Blessings - Scottish Master of Wedding Ceremonies in the Highland Celtic Tradition, Scot AnSgeulaiche, The Storyteller. HandFastings, Jumping the Besom, Dress, Storytelling and Blessings. Based in Argyll, travelling the world

Scot AnSgeulaiche, Master of Wedding Ceremonies in the Celtic / Scottish tradition working alongside wedding entertainment and music. I am a Seanachaidh, or clan bard / Highland Storyteller and keeper of Highland customs and blessings (in Gàidhlig, Scots and English) and as such offer HandFasting Ceremonies, Jumping the Broom / Besom.

Fàilte Oirbh! A Welcome on You! My name is Scot AnSgeulaiche. I am a Master of Wedding Ceremonies, Handfasting Celebrant and Storyteller in the Scottish Celtic tradition, based in Scotland. I bring Scottish Wedding Traditions from the living Highlands and Islands Gàidhlig (Gaelic) culture and also from careful historical study, Traditions such as Sharing The Cuach and Jumping the Besom (broom). These are ideal for Castle Weddings and popular with scots living abroad in England and the Americas. Of course, I can advise on highland dress and my wife, Samantha Corrigan, and I have even delved into Scottish Wedding Traditions to create wedding favours and gifts. Samantha I often perform Handfasting and Renewal ceremonies as co-celebrants, Male and Female in Balance. Together, we are "Highland Blessings".

As a Master of Ceremonies, I also bring an organised flow to the day for our guests, introduce the speeches, give Grace at the wedding breakfast, all from Highland traditions in Scotland.

Ceremonies can be created for many events, not just marriages. These might include Civil Partership, a Renewal of Marriage Vows ceremony, separation ceremonies, naming ceremonies for infants, anything infact that you wish to honour with a significant ceremony, infront of family and friends, imbued with an element of the Sacred. Again, coming from the Scottish Traditions.

Much of our work is within Scotland (we live in Perthshire & Argyll), but we also travel anywhere that can be reached without using an aeroplane.
